Edgar Boone Lockman

Edgar Boone Lockman, age 90 of Sevierville, died Friday, November 15, 2002 at his home. He was born in Cataloochee, North Carolina and his family moved to New Jersey when he was young. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse B. and Delphia Seay Lockman; daughter Joyce Dawn; brothers Jesse, Wayne, O’Dell, Paul, C.L. and Dennis Lockman; sister Opal Coles. Survivors: Wife of 65 years: Alice Shelton Lockman Daughters and sons-in-law: Kay Williams of Sevierville; Jean and Joseph (Rick) Skoczen of Pt. Pleasant, NJ; Linda and William (Bill) Ludwigsen of Gatlinburg Ten grandchildren Twenty five great-grandchildren Two great-great-grandchildren Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters all of New Jersey and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 AM Monday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Melvin Lonas officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
