Ingram, Ruth S. Russell, of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2002 at Ft. Sanders Sevier Hospital. Member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and was employed at Standard Knitting Mills for 42 years. Preceded in death by parents, Jake and Mary Russell; brothers, Edward, Fred, Raymond and Jim Russell; and sisters, Johnnie Helton, Ida Purkey and Grace Rogers. Husband, James L. "J.L." Ingram; daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Eddie Rule of Seymour; granddaughters: Lora Irwin and husband, Bryan of Richmond, Virginia; Amy Rogers and husband, Steve of Seymour; Holly Rule of Seymour; great-grandchildren: Michael and David Bozzone of Seymour; Bryan, Andrew and Cade Irwin of Richmond, Virginia; Amber, Dana and Holly Rogers of Seymour; sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and Beecher Baker of Seymour; several nieces and nephews including special niece, Brenda Sise; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Tom and Helen Ingram of Maryville; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Ingram of Mobile, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Valley Grove Baptist Church, with Dr. Bobby Tucker and Rev. Harry Mynatt officiating. Interment will follow at Highland South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Family Life Center, c/o Valley Grove Baptist Church, 9000 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Valley Grove Baptist Church. Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway in charge of arrangements.
