NEWMAN, CHARLIE ANN, age 71, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at home. Member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and craftsperson. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Charles Armstrong and Ruth Armstrong. Survived by son, Charles R. Newman; daughter and son-in-law, Ann Rita Ditmore and husband, Floyd Ditmore; grandson, Hunter Ditmore; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne Keene and husband, Bob Keene; brother, John Armstrong; several nieces and nephews and friends; special friends, Evonne and Steve Holmes. Graveside service 11 A.M. Saturday at Asbury Cemetery with Rev. David Bradford officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Sertoma Center, Inc., 1400 E.
