Robert Earl Bailey

Robert Earl Bailey, age 90, passed away Friday, November 08, 2002 at Baptist Hospital. He was born January 10, 1912 in Kodak, TN, the son of Joe and Julie Bailey. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Bailey was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed working with cattle and the land. He was a Sevier County School Bus driver for 19 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lucy Lane Bailey; daughters Corrine and Iroslee Bailey; brother Tom Bailey; sisters Elizabeth Wilhite and Lucille White. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Geneva and Larry Wohlford, Strawberry Plains, TN Grandson: Robert Alan Wohlford, Strawberry Plains, TN Sister: Nell Hickman, Kodak, TN Funeral service 3 PM Sunday at Beech Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Stinnett officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Wohlford, Justin Ogle, Scott Shackleford, Dwight Russell, Leon Drinnen and Darrell Hickman.
