George P. Galyon

Galyon, George P. age 96, of Knoxville passed away Friday, May 31, 2002. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church. Retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company in 1970. He was preceded in death by wife Zella Galyon and daughters Bernice Eggers and Beatrice Rimmer. Daughter Dora Myers; son Gene Galyon; son-in-law Gene Rimmer and daughter-in-law Jerry Galyon; sister Ethel Hurst; 10 grandchildren, several great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 AM at Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dana Fachman and Rev. George Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Highland South Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
