Artrip, Robert J., age 78, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2002. Loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Virginia Artrip; sons: Christopher, David, Matthew and Robert; daughter, Julie; grandchildren: Aaron, Shawn, April and Alex; brothers: Walter of Kitty Hawk, NC; Reed of Lynchburg, VA; sisters: Dorsey Phipps of Clintwood, VA; Annette Thompson of Monroe, LA; Betty Monahan of Clintwood, VA; Shirley Damron of Lafayette, GA; many other relatives and friends. Graveside service Saturday 11:00 AM, Woodlawn Cemetery, with Anton Heise officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
