Virginia Turner (Mum) Paul

Paul, Virginia M. Turner (Mum), age 73, a Christian, passed away peacefully in her sleep, May 14, 2002. Mrs. Paul was from South Knoxville and was of the Baptist faith. “The world lost an angel today.” Preceded in death by husband, Harold Otto Paul; parents, Hal and China Turner; sisters, Dorothy and Mabel; and brother, Fred. Daughters and their husbands, Diana and Steve Carson; Rachel and Sam Palmer; Becky and David Ownby; son and his wife, Brian and Joy Paul; grandchildren: Stacy (Scott) Trentham, Paul Carson, Jordan and Logan Paul; great grandchildren: Samantha and Jacob Trentham; special niece, Laverne Cooper; brother, Richard Turner and wife, Althea; and many nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was loved by so many and inspired everyone she met. Funeral service Friday 1:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland South Cemetery. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Garden of the Four Gospels. Friends and nephews will serve as her pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
