M.P. ''Jake'' Thomas, III

M.P. “Jake” Thomas, III, age 91 of Pigeon Forge, died Monday, March 25, 2002. His parents were M.P. Thomas, Jr. and Emily Emert Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary King Thomas. Jake was a lifelong farmer in Pigeon Forge and was active in the Sevier County Farm Bureau and other farm related organizations in Sevier County. He was one of the founding directors of the First Federal Savings and Loan of Sevierville. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sevierville.
