Roy Sutton

Sutton, Roy, age 77, of South Knoxville, passed away March 1, 2002 at his home. He was a member of United Brothers Methodist Church in Marble City. He was employed by Cherokee Mills for 27 years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II. Wife of 44 years, Margaret Sutton; daughter, Donna Sutton Hicks; son, Kenny Sutton; granddaughter, Chelsey Sutton; a host of many special friends. Much thanks and appreciation to Dr. Gregory Blake and the staff of University Family Physicians. Funeral 8:00 PM Monday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Tiller and Rev. Bill Rymer officiating. Interment 11:00 AM Tuesday, Highland Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
