Mary L. Fryar Ward

Ward, Mary L. Fryar, age 76, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2002. Preceded in death by sons, Kenny and Hobert “Scooch” Ward; parents, Hobert and Trula Fryar; and sister, Dorothy Norris. Loving husband of 55 years, Beecher Ward; beloved sons, Carl Ray Ward and Dallas and wife, Snooky Ward of Knoxville; grandchildren, Mary Ann, Kenny, Rhonda, Renae, Carla and Devina; great grandchildren, Christopher, Briana, Joe, Rachel, Jerica, Morgan, Christopher, Courtney, Alyssa, Kayla, Cody and Alexis; step-mother, Mattie Fryar; brothers, Robert and Kenneth Fryar; sisters, Neva Harrison, Judy Reynolds, JoAnn Thompson, Linda Hicks, Donna Lawson, Sue Cummings, Kay Fryar, and Jane Harding; aunt, Mattie Sawyer, special cousins, Billie Fryar and Delores Hartsook; several nieces and nephews; and a host of very good friends. Funeral service Friday 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Clabough and Rev. Jim Depew officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday 11:00 AM, Mt. Olive Cemetery, for interment. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
