Thomas James Ogle

Thomas J. Ogle, age 85, son of the late Mark and Mary Campbell Ogle, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Helen McCarter Ogle. Tom was a member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church and a long time and faithful employee of the Gatlinburg Inn and Mr. and Mrs. Rel Maples. A brother Ernest and sister Lillie preceded him in death. Survivors: Loving Wife: Helen McCarter Ogle Sisters: Marie Williams, Dorothy Gosnell, Flora Bohanan Towle Nephews and wives:Jess Williams , Ronald Williams, Bill and Becky Gosnell, Newell and Janice Bohanan, Don and Brenda Bohanan Cousins:Allen and Emma Ramsey, Bertha Lethco, Charles Ramsey, and Cecil Ogle Special nephew and wife: Don and Peggy Pickel Sisters-in-law: Louise McCarter Huskey, Sue McCarter Harget Many other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, Pigeon Forge with Rev. David Ayers officiating. Interment 10 AM Thursday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be nephew and neighbors.
