Miley Whaley Proffitt, 82, of Gatlinburg died Saturday July 20, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Proffitt. Survivors: Daughters & sons-in-law; Frankie and Mayo McLamb, and Betty and Robert Hardesty Grandchildren; Dale McLamb, David McLamb, Melissa Jo Best, Barry Hardesty and Bill Hardesty 7 great grandchildren Brothers; Roosevelt and Preston Whaley Sister; Edna Long Funeral service 11:30 A.M. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. France Parton officiating. Interment will follow in Pigeon Forge Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M.
