Samuel, Tommy Curtis, age 48, of South Knoxville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2002 at UT Hospital. Member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by mother, Rachel Samuel and sister, Lisa Samuel. Daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Doug Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sandra Samuel; granddaughter, Brandylinn Samuel; father, Ben H. Samuel; brother and sister-in-law, Ben A. and Marion Samuel; brothers, Billy Samuel and Darryl Samuel. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Chad Rittenhouse officiating. The family will meet Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday before the funeral service at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
