Aaron Pratt, Jr.

Pratt, Aaron, Jr. "Rod", "Brother Pratt", age 81, of South Knoxville passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Gap Creek Church, retired Knox County School teacher of 34 years, antique dealer for over 25 years, and a farmer. Preceded in death by step-father, E.P. Porterfield and mother, Grace Mae Porterfield; half brother, Charlie Porterfield. Wife of 55 years, Joyce Pratt; son, Donald; daughter, Rhonda; several aunts and uncles and many cousins. Funeral 8:00 PM Thursday at Berry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Eubanks officiating. Interment 11:00 AM Friday at Seven Islands Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Herbert Warren, Paul Warren, Willie Gene Pratt, Billy Ray Henderson, Gary Jones, Rex Montgomery, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
