Richard Conrad Lang

Richard Conrad Lang, age 90 of Gatlinburg, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at his home. Richard served his country in World War II as a CIC Special Agent attached to the First Infantry Division. His early career started as Vice President of the Trust Department of Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati. Later he served as President of the Cocoa Beach State Bank. He was best known as a co-owner of Village Candles of Gatlinburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Herman Lang, brother, Harold Lang, and sister, Ruth Kumpe. Survivors: Wife: Stephanie Blythe Lang Daughters and Son-in-law: Lori and Kevin Tierney Lisa Lin Lang Son and Daughter-in-law: Richard Mark and Elena Lang Grandchildren: Kevin Kyle Tierney Katie Colleen Tierney Clio Lang Step Children: Sherry Killian and husband Craig Joseph Todd Willocks and wife Hollie Step Grandchildren: Austin Killian Carley Willocks Brothers: Edward Lang Arthur Lang Many Cherished Friends Memorial service with military honors will be 11 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at the American Legion Post 104 on West Main Street, Sevierville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Sevier County Humane Society—959 Gnatty Branch Road—Sevierville, Tennessee 37876 or to UT Hospice—2200 Sutherland Avenue, Suite 102—Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
