Mary Lou Hopper, age 82, of Sevierville, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pigeon Forge, and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was a past president of the Pigeon Forge Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Martin, brother, Robert Darbro. Survivors: Husband: Wilbur “Bill” Hopper Niece: Cleta Vining Nancy Mitchell Great nephews: Marty Mitchell Lane Mitchell Ryan Steiner Nathan Steiner Great niece: Kasey Steiner Funeral Service 7PM Friday in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, Pigeon Forge with Dr. Michael Johnson officiating. Interment 2PM Saturday in Pigeon Forge Methodist Cemtery. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Friday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge TN 37863.
