Steve Douglas Palmer

Palmer, Steve Douglas, age 47, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2002. Member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father and son and was deeply loved by all family and friends. Preceded in death by father, Edward Palmer. Wife, Donna Palmer; daughters: Rachel Posadas and husband, Avery; Whitney Palmer; granddaughter, Allison Marie Posadas; mother, Elizabeth Palmer; sisters & brothers-in-law: Brenda and Virgil Jenkins; Charlotte and Fred Allen; brother & sister-in-law, John Edward and Shirley Palmer; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Baptist Hospice staff. Graveside service Saturday 1:00 PM, Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dale Walker officiating. Pallbearers will be Doug and Jeff Byrd, John Palmer, Jr., David Wilburn, Avery Posadas, and Jerry Rutherford. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
