WOOD, ROBERTA M., of Knoxville, passed away Friday January 11, 2002. Member of Smithwood Baptist Church. Retired from Knox County School System. Preceded in death by husband, Earl E. Wood; sister, Helen Taylor; brothers, Roy and Johnny Myers. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Candy and George Bell of Chattanooga, Joy and Mike Blankenship of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kate and Julie Bell, Bonny and Mark Blankenship. Graveside service for family will be conducted Sunday 2:00 P.M. at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Sullivan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pk., Knoxville 37938. Friends may call at their convenience until 4:00 P.M.
