Bashia Rollins Batson

Bashia R. Batson, age 86 of Chestnut Hill, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2002. She was preceded in death by mother and father William and Cinda Rollins, husband James Batson, sisters Jetta Truan and Ruby Rollins; brother Bruel W. Rollins; half brothers and sisters Thomas and Jimmy Rollins, Minnie Phillips, Dovie Valentine, Lorenda Webb. Mrs. Batson was a member of Chestnut Hill Methodist Church. Survivors: Sister and brother-in-law: Mildred and Jack Tallent Several nieces and nephews The family would like to thank the caregivers of NHC Healthcare in Knoxville. Funeral service 7:30 PM Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Ball officiating. Family and friends will meet 1 PM Saturday at Fox Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
