Delmer R. Carpenter

Carpenter, Delmer R., age 70, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2002. He was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration and was a veteran of the United States Army serving with 278th Infantry during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Carpenter and sister, Lucille Finsterwald. Wife, Helen Fair Carpenter; sons, Terry and Russell Carpenter; daughter-in-law, Sharon Carpenter; granddaughters, Lauren and Kelly Carpenter; brother, James Carpenter; sister-in-law, Dorothy Carpenter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday, 7:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Saturday 11:00 AM at Willoughby Cemetery in Mosheim, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
