Aubrey William Brewer

Brewer, Aubrey William “A.W.”, age 61 of South Knoxville, was given eternal peace and rest after a lengthy and courageous battle with failing health on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at 7:10 AM, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by father, John William Brewer; brothers, Robert “Bob” Sledge, Johnny Brewer; and sister, Peggy Cox. He leaves behind, devoted and loving girlfriend, Brenda Loveday, whom he cherished; and faithful dog, Pedab; mother, Audrey Cate Brewer; sister, Bea Terry; brother, Rondie Brewer; former wife of 23 years and mother of his daughters, Lillie M. Brewer; daughters, Teresa A. Rowland (Dave), Deborah B. Massey; and Stephanie N. Brewer; grandchildren, Chris Willis, Stephen Massey, Jr., Kaitlyn Massey and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with Rev. Stephen K. Doyal presiding over the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Project Help, c/o KUB, P.O. Box 59017, Knoxville, TN 37950-9017. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the service in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
