DEAVER, CAROLYN LAWSON SHECKELS, age 65, of North Knoxville, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2002. Member of Alice Bell Baptist Church and Agape Sunday School Class. Retired from Levi Strauss and Standard Knitting Mills. Preceded in death by parents, Rome and Lily Lawson and grandson, Brandon Sheckels. Survived by husband, Lewis (Eddie) Deaver; children, Teresa and Jim Moose, Washington State, James and Betty Sheckels, North Carolina and Gary Sheckels, Florida; grandchildren, Lance and Brittney Moose, Kenneth and Katrina Sheckels, Ed and Gary Sheckels, Jr.; brother, Gary and Nancy Lawson, Kodak, TN; sister, Kay and Jim Tarwater, Dandridge, TN; brother-in-law, Max (Jerry) Deaver,Jr.; sister-in-law, Mary D. Little; several caring nieces and nephews. Funeral service 10:00 A.M. Friday, Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery.
