Betty Lou Townsend

Betty Townsend, age 70 of Sevierville, went to receive her crown Tuesday, December 10, 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents Verless and Cora Morton; sister Rosella Ownby; brothers Henry, Bill and Verless Morton, Jr.; grandson Travis Houser. Survivors: Carman Townsend Daughter: Denise Franklin Daughter and son-in-law: Marlene and Stephen Houser Grandchildren: Tasha Franklin, Stephen Houser, II Brothers: Tom Morton, Clell Morton, Frits Morton Sisters: Augusta Whaley, Jane Noland Many friends Homegoing celebration 2 PM Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Lonas, Rev. Donnie Jester officiating. Interment will follow in Caton’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Ken Dyer officiating.
