Collier, Verda, age 97, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2002 at Pigeon Forge Health Care. Member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Louis Felton Collier; son Louis F. (Bud) Collier, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Madge Townsend Collier. Grandson, David L. Collier and wife Karen; great-granddaughter Arianna Collier. Funeral service 2:00 PM Tuesday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jim McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday, Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
