Elsie A. Johnson

Johnson, Elsie A., age 91, of Oak Ridge, formerly of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 12, 2002 at the home of her sister, Elizabeth Beeler. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and retired from Hamilton National Bank. Preceded in death by husband, Stephen M. Johnson; parents, George Arthur and Osie Mae Altom; and brother, Noel Altom. Sister, Elizabeth Beeler; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral service Friday, 2:00 PM, Mount Olive Baptist Church, with Rev. Deron Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Maryville Pike. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
