James Arnold Parton

James Arnold Parton, age 81, of Sevierville, passed away at his home Thursday, April 25, 2002. He was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church, and a Veteran of W.W.II. He was preceded in death by his parents George L. and Hettie White Parton, brothers, Plez, Dalis, and Adam Parton, Sister, Velma Clabo, Grandson-in-law, Rodney Jenkins. Survivors: Wife of 57 years: Lillian Baker Parton Daughter and son-in-law: Patricia (Pat) Rapking and husband David Granddaughter: Kellie Mills and husband Doug, Karen Isbill and husband Michael Great-Granddaughter: Jordan Sliker Samantha Sliker Great-Grandson: Lucas Sisters: Ethel Rogers of Sevierville Rhea Barker of Newport, TN Several Nieces Nephews and cousins also survive Funeral service Friday, 7:30 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Lemming and Rev. Ernie Coleman officiating. Interment service 11 AM Saturday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
