Samuel Fenn Chance, age 68 of Sevierville, died Saturday, September 29, 2001 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was a member of Eden United Methodist Church. He was retired after 21 years of service from Knoxville Iron/Florida Steel where he was a member of the “A” Team. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Zelma Chance, brothers, Tex & Smitty Chance, and infant sister, Sarah Chance. Survivors: Wife: Carsielee Finchum Chance Daughters: Anna Mashburn & husband Donnie Rita McGill Granddaughter: Ashton Rose Mashburn Brothers: Gale Chance & wife Lorene Charles Chance & wife Lorene Sisters: Betty McKinney Sally Brake & husband Carl Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Joe Ward and Rev. Don Jones officiating. Interment 10 AM Tuesday in Eden Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
