Bennie Jean Vandergriff

Bennie Jean Vandergriff, age 72, a resident of Seymour, passed away Saturday September 22, 2001. She was an employee of Apple Valley Comfort Inn, and a member of First Baptist Church, Seymour. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Josephine Montgomery, and sister, Mary Nelle Montgomery. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her two sons but most recently a special mother to her only granddaughter, Brianna. Survivors: Husband: Joe Vandergriff Sons: Steve Vandergriff Michael Vandergriff Granddaughter: Brianna Vandergriff Sisters: Billie Chambers, of Watson Town, PA Ann Montgomery, of Sevierville Jane Reagan and husband Larry, of Sevierville Brothers: Robert Montgomery and wife Joy, of Seymour Conny Montgomery and wife Jayette, of Sevierville Richard Montgomery and wife LaVerne, of Seymour Several nieces and nephews Graveside service and interment 10:30AM Tuesday in Knob Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home.
