Nell Ellis

ELLIS, NELL B., age 88, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2001, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, George Ellis. She was the last surviving child of Lee and Rhoda Beeler. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Kyle Wood of Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Bettye Ellis of Powell; Jim and Grace Ellis of Pikeville, Tn.; Art and Charlotte Ellis of Blountville, Tn.; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr., followed by funeral service at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Phil Jones officiating. Interment 3:00 P.M. Sunday Lynnhurst Cemetery.
