Gena L. Rains

Gena L. Rains, age 37 of Seymour, passed away September 13, 2001. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Seymour and a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She had a special place in her heart for all animals and she loved the mountains. She was preceded in death by her sister Misty Shultz. Survivors: Mother and step-father: Geraldine and David Shultz Father: Carl Gene Rains and wife Judy Sisters: Jennifer Whitaker and husband Randy, Augusta, GA; Deanna Williams of Knoxville Grandmothers: Betty Webb, Seymour; Treva Kerr of Sevierville Special friend: Ken Dunn Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew and cousins In accordance with her wishes, Gena will be cremated. Memorial service 7:00 P.M. Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Atchley funeral Home, Sevierville. Friends may call at the family home prior to services on Saturday.
