Mona Birckhead Eager, age 84 of Sevierville, died Tuesday, October 23, 2001 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a member of St. Joseph Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eager; first husband, Ned O. Birckhead; son, Edwin O. Birckhead; and brother, Charles B. Sparks Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Betty and Coppley Vickers of Sevierville, TN Grandchildren: Ned and Margaret Anne Vickers of Knoxville, Rebecca Vickers of Long Beach, California Sister-in-law: Carolyn Sparks of Maryville, TN Several nieces and nephews Memorial service 1 PM Saturday at St. Joseph Episcopal Church with The Reverend Canon A. Robert Rizner officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Burial 12:00 noon Monday in Monticello Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Virginia.
