Ruth Rounsaville

ROUNSAVILLE, RUTH C., lovingly known by her family and friends as Ruthie, passed away peacefully at home October 9, 2001 at the age of 78. Ruthie was a devoted wife to her loving husband, James E., for 49 years, a wonderful mother to her children, Janice Eisenman of Albany, N.Y., and her son, Tim of Orlando, Fl., and a doting Granny to her grand-daughters, Tristan and Delaney Rounsaville, both of Orlando, Fl. Born and raised in Chilicothee, Ohio, Ruthie moved to Knoxville in 1947, where she met Jim, while employed at the Atomic Energy Commission in Oak Ridge. Ruthie was a member of the Knoxville Seventh Day Adventist Church, where through the years, she served God in the Children’s Division, as church treasurer, and a member of the choir. Ruthie is survived by her sisters, Helen Barto and Martha Mitchell; brothers, Charles and Gerald Collins, all of Knoxville, brother, Donald, of Venice, Fl., as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Collins, and her parents, Cora and Elba Collins. Friends may call at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel Thursday October 11, 2001 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Chapel at 10:30 A.M. Friday and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. graveside service.
