James R. Hendrix, Sr.

Hendrix, Sr., James R., age 88 of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday November 21, 2001 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Hendrix was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and retired from Rohm Haas with 33 years of service. Wife of 64 years, Bessie L. Hendrix; a son, James R. Hendrix, Jr. of Knoxville and a daughter, Louise Jackson, of Ocala, FL; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment 11:00 AM Saturday at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
