Betty Jo Mlligan

MILLIGAN, BETTY JO - age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Member of Washington Pike Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Rev. Oscar and Callie Bates Mills; sisters, Myrtle Cloninger and Margie Humbard; brothers, Ed, Roy, and Bill Mills. Survivors include husband of 52 years, James Lee Milligan, Sr.; son, James Lee Milligan, Jr.; granddaughters, Mary Frances and Katherine Milligan; sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Robert Murray; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Katherine Mills; sisters-in-law, Jessie Mills and Aileen Mills, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Thursday, May 3, 2001, 2 p.m. followed by graveside service at 3 p.m. in Lynnhurst Cemetery with Dr. Dana Boatman officiating. A special prayer will be given by Robert Murray. Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at St. Mary's Hospice for their loving care.
