DOWNS, BILLIE F. - age 75, of Seymour, died of cancer, Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at her residence. Member of South Knoxville Church of Christ. Employee of Seymour Branch of Sevier County Public Library System. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Jan Downs of Longwood, Fla., and John and Montie Downs of Knoxville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Jewel Crockett of Obion, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Bob Albright of Nashville, Tenn.; five nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday, 8 p.m., Berry Chapel, Tom Miller and Geoff Mabe officiating. Interment 12 Noon (Central time) 1 p.m. (Eastern time) Saturday at Gallatin City Cemetery.
