Bonnie Christie Fricks Kerr

Bonnie Christie Fricks Kerr, age 86 of Sevierville, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleve and Martha Christie; husbands, Lewis Earl Fricks and Clarence Kerr; infant brother Ray Christie; sisters Louise Fritts and Catheryn Chandler; grandson Brian Edward Canup. Bonnie was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was very active in her Sunday School and Awana Program. She was known as a lady of prayer. She was retired from the Tennessee School for the Deaf. Survivors: Sister: Marietta Dunlap Daughters: Judy Canup and Connie Thompson Grandchildren: Trina Canup, Randy and Dale Garner, Cathy and Gary Branam, Alice and David Turbeville, Lewis Garner Seven great grandchildren Three great-great-grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Curtis Wells, Rev. James Suttles, Rev. Ed Parton and Rev. Andy Miller officiating. Interment 11 AM Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville. Pallbearers will be Lewis Garner, Jeremy Mead, David Turbeville, Gene , George and Adam Abbott, James Garner. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
