James Robert Patterson

PATTERSON, JAMES ROBERT (BOB) - age 67 of South Knoxville, died Thursday, March 22, 2001 at his home. Member of New Vision Baptist Church and former member of Island Home Baptist Church. Employed with Foote Mineral Company for 18 years. Retired from House Hasson Hardware. Preceded in death by parents, Rollo & Winnie Patterson; sisters, Edith Mulkey, Mary Bruce, Mildred Webb; brothers, Paul, Luke, Herbert, Newman and Jack Patterson. Survivors include wife of 40 years, Gladys Ballinger Patterson; daughter, Judi Holdren, Jill Patterson; daughter and son in law, Jana and Chris Huddleston; granddaughter, Gentry Morgan Huddleston; grandson, James Darby Huddleston; sister and brother in law, Shirley and Everett Norris; brother and sister in law, William Turk and Ann Patterson all of Knoxville. Following a private burial service for the family a memorial service will be held at Island Home Baptist Church on Monday March 26, 2001 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Chris Francis and Rev. Dwight Jenkins officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Vision Baptist Church P.O.
