Ivor Albert Parsons, Jr.

Ivor Albert Parsons, Jr., age 80 of Sevierville, Tennessee formerly of Brandon, South Dakota, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001. He was born in Newport Mon Wales May 13, 1920. Mr. Parsons retired from John Morrell & Co. in 1982, then moved to Sevierville, Tennessee. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1941-1945. He was a member of VFW, 40 ET8, and was Past Commander of the Brandon VFW. He married Mary Magdalene Duncan in 1945. Survivors: Wife: Mary Parsons Son & Daughter-in-law: John & Carla Parsons of Seymour, Tennessee Daughters: Mary Anderson of Kodak, Tennessee Sally Peterson of Sevierville. Tennessee Grandchildren: Brenda Parsons Ivy Parsons Ivor Parsons Stacie & Philip Plemons Jessie Peterson One Great Grandchild Graveside service and interment 2 PM Thursday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens with Rev.
