Lela Ruth Lafollette, age 82 of Kodak, died Sunday, March 11, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Guy Lafollette; parents, Clark and Sophia Maples; son-in-law, Ray Hurst; sisters, Pearl Campbell, Eula Jones and brother, James Maples. Survivors: Sons: Delmar Lafollette and wife Agnus Gene Lafollette and wife Edna Jim Lafollette and wife Dorothy Bill Lafollette and wife Ginger John Lafollette and wife Debbie Joe Lafollette Daughters: Dorothy Maples and husband Franklin Martha Hurst Shirley Lenz and husband Larry 26 grandchildren 38 great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren Sisters: Mary Alley Betty Blevins Aileen Blalock Brothers: Ernest Maples Glen Maples Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. O.W. Grubb, Rev. Steve Lewis and Rev. Rickey Hartsoe officiating. Interment 2 PM Wednesday in Eden Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
