Phillip Mickey Laton

LATON, PHILIP MICKEY - age 27, of Knoxville, passed away Sat., March 10, 2001. He attended Meridian Baptist Church. A graduate of South Young High School in 1991. He worked for the Juvenile Detention Center in Knoxville. Preceded in death by father, Walter Laton; grandfather, Glen Gray, and grandparents, James and Myrtle Laton. Survivors: children, Mercedes, Mickey, and Jeffrey "Jag" Laton; mother, Pamela Laton; grandmother, Maxine Gray; former wives, Misty Laton and Rebecca Laton; uncle, Philip Gray; cousins, Carl and Emily Gray; former father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeff and Debbie Johnson; work partner, Angela, and a host of friends and other relatives. Pallbearers: Jody Ogle, Nathan Anderson, Eric Johnson, Remy Cabera, Gary Holt, Mike Curcio. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Wed., Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Interment will follow at New Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tues. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
