Genevieve Dodgin, age 63 of Sevierville died Friday March 9, 2001 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. She was preceded in death by parents, Ora & Clydabee Spurgeon, brother, Earl Ray Spurgeon, sisters, Geneva Spurgeon, & Betty Dotson. Survivors: Husband: John L. Dodgin Son & Daughter-in-law: Larry & Sharon Dodgin Daughters & Sons-in-law: Sherry & Curt Franklin Beverly & Johnny Branch Kay & Stanley Parton 9 Grandchildren 3 Great-Grandchildren Brother: Richard Spurgeon Sister: Ada McMillen Funeral service 2pm Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Carr and Rev. Ben Whitted officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Grove cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home.
