DONAHUE, OPAL LEE - age 75 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2001 at Fort Sanders Parkwest Hospital. Retired from Levi's of Powell. She attended Bethel United Methodist Church.A wonderful,loving and devoted mother and wife, Opal lived her life expressing kindness, love and compassion to all she met. She lit up the lives of all she met with her bright light of love.She will be missed by her daughter, Phyllis Jean(Sissy) who loved her more than words can express.Preceded in death by her brothers, Dan, Carson, J.C. and Glenn Farmer. Survivors:husband, Woodrow E. Donahue; daughter and son in law, Phyllis and Phil Harnik; son and daughter in law, Ron and Pam Donahue; grandchildren, Christopher and Timothy Donahue; sister, Lois Humphrey of Memphis; brother, Shelby Farmer of Corryton; step great grandchildren, Hayden and Sydny Briggs; special friends, Martha Taylor. She has several step brothers and sister. Funeral service will be at 8p.m. Sunday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. David Lawrence and Rev. Roscoe Oxendine officiating. Interment will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W.
