Marshall, Gerald S. (Jerry), of South Knoxville, died Saturday, July 28, 2001 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Jerry worked in the clothing industry for more than 40 years at Hall-Brown, Schriver's, and M.S. McClellan. Preceded in death by father, J. Sydney Marshall. Survived by: wife, Lynne Marshall; daughters, Lisa Marshall and Jennifer Jarrett and husband Ron Jarrett; son in law, Doug Sowards; grandchildren, Jordan and Kara Sowards, Christopher, Stephen and Nicholas Jarrett; mother, Mrs. J.S. Marshall; brothers, C. Douglas Marshall and James F. Marshall. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at Mattox Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside service.
