Charles Guinn

Guinn, Charles Wesley, age 66, of South Knoxville passed away July 25, 2001 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Member of Loveland Baptist Church. Retired from General Shale Products Corporation. He was an avid supporter of Knoxville Stars and Knoxville Thunder Baseball. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by parents, Amos Frank Guinn and Jenny Mae Guinn; sisters, Hazel Kidd, Edith Phillips; and brothers, Gaines Frank Guinn and Clarence Guinn. Survived by wife, Betty Guinn; daughter & son-in-law, Teresa and Tim Underwood; Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Friday, Berry Chapel with Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Doug Byrd, Lem Cox, Gordon Carr, Tim Williams, Darryl Guinn and Lincoln Hurd. Military honors by Volunteer State Honor Guard.
