Mrs. Peggy W. Ford

Ford, Mrs. Peggy W., age 69, beloved wife and mother, passed away Monday, January 29, 2001 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Knox County General Sessions Court. Preceded in death by parents, William Riley Weaver and Catherine Brookshire Weaver; daughter, Rebecca Ford Vaughn; one brother and several sisters. Survived by husband of 52 years, Leon R. Ford; son & daughter-in-law: Richard H. & Becky Ford; daughter & son-in-law: Angela F. & Dan M. Kelly; grandchildren: Russ Smelcer, Lauren & Preston Kelly, Ryan & Kara Ford; sisters: Vila Willens of Knoxville, Gladys Patterson of Portland, OR; sister-in-law, Geneva Weaver of Copper Hill, TN; many nieces, nephews, lifelong Ford family members and neighbors; special friend, Phyllis Cagle. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM Wednesday in the gallery of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church with funeral services to follow in the sanctuary at 7:30 PM, Rev. Kirk Werner and Rev. Denny Ford officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment service.
