Larry James Loveday

Larry James Loveday, (U.S. Navy Reitred), age 53 of Sevierville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday , January 24, 2001 at his home , after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mr. Loveday retired from the United States Navy after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Oakley; father Leonard J. Loveday; and brother Raymond Maples. Survivors: Wife: Gwendlyn Loveday Sons and daughters-in-law: Larry W. and Dawn Loveday Brian and Tabatha Loveday Daughter and son-in-law: Melissa and Calvin Ballard Granddaughter: Gabriella Loveday Sisters and brothers and their spouses: Darlene Kirby and George McGahee Kathy and Jimmy Frye Judy and Troy Proffitt Linda and Gordon Williams Rhonda and Don Breeden Sheila and Charlie Soehnlein Leonard and Emily Loveday, Jr. Jerry and Sharon Loveday Randy and Angela Loveday Special uncle: James B. Huskey Funeral service 2 PM Saturday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Parton and Rev. Dan King officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home.
