Trula Mae Keen

Trula Mae Keen, age 72 of Sevierville, TN died Tuesday, January 23, 2001. Ms. Keen was born in Sevier County, TN and was a direct descendant of the original settlers of the area. She worked as a nurse at Mary Mount and Hawthorne Hospitals in Ohio. She retired from nursing and became the Christian Education Director at Northfield Baptist Church in Northfield , Ohio. For the last 16 years she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and used her spiritual gifts to serve the Lord and her church family Ms Keen was united in marriage to James (J.E.) Wells on August 27, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husbands James Wells and Robert Keen, parents, Joseph and Bessie Widener and brother, William Widener.. Jody Gehring and wife Vanessa, Anchorage, Alaska Julie Wheeler and husband Chris, Sevierville,TN Josh Gehring, Tampa, FL Jessica Peacock, Sevierville,TN Jimmy Peacock, Sevierville,TN Tricia Connors, Denver, Colorado Marisa Connors, Duluth, MN Tim Connors, Normal, IL Gerry Borneman, Portland, Oregon Wendi Borneman, Portland, Oregon Sister: Edith White of Cleveland, Ohio Funeral service 7 PM Thursday, January 25, 2001 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Sevierville,TN. Rev. Curtis Wells and Pastor Larry Connors officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Friday, January 26, 2001 at Zion Hill Cemetery for interment. Pallbearers will be Stacey Roach, Jody Gehring, Chris Wheeler, Josh Gehring, Jimmy Peacock, Tim Connors. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Fellowship Baptist Church.
