Dr. Robert Dickerson

Dickerson, Dr. Robert V., age 83, of North Knoxville, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2001 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was former Pastor of Long Beach Bible Presbyterian Church, Long Beach, CA; Assistant Pastor of Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood, NJ; Supply Pastor to several churches in the Knoxville area. He was also a board member for the Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions. He was a member of the Bible Presbyterian Church of Knoxville. He was a First Lieutenant in the Air Force during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Dickerson; daughters and sons-in-law: Beth and Rev. G.W. Fisher; Debby and Dr. Ed Gross; son and daughter-in-law, William R. and Joan Dickerson; grandchildren: Miriam, Matthew, Joy, Glenn, and Andrew Fisher; Charity, John, Faith, and Hope Gross; John, Emily, Rebecca, Sarah, Robert, and Ashley Dickerson; sister, Phyllis Dickerson of Ypsilanti, MI; brother, Charles Dickerson of Ypsilanti, MI. Funeral service 2:30 PM Tuesday, Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Rev. G.W. Fisher officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
