Mabel Sherrod Jordan

Jordan, Mabel Sherrod, age 95, of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2001 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Member of Graystone Presbyterian Church and South Knoxville Chapter AARP. Former secretary for Ira A.Watson Company and John Montgomery Insurance Agency. Preceded in death by husband, Earl H. Jordan; son, Earl H. Jordan, Jr.; brothers, J. Kurth, Frank L., and Robert H. Sherrod; sisters, Lois Combs, Helen Watson. Daughter: Eloise Crawford - Cornelius, NC The family will receive friends Friday from 11 to 12 noon at Graystone Presbyterian Church with funeral service following at 12 noon with Rev. Mark Knisley officiating. Interment immediately following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Memorial may be made to Graystone Presbyterian Church, 139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 or charity of you choice.
