Hayes, Darryl, age 38, of Knoxville passed away suddenly Saturday, December 22, 2001. Preceded in death by parents, William E. and Ruby L. Hayes. Employee of Lindquist Steel for 15 years. Wife, Laura Giffin Hayes; sister, Kathy Hayes of Knoxville; special aunt, Peggy Cosey of Sevierville; mother & father-in-law, David and Ella Giffin of Knoxville; sister & brother-in-law, Milton and Ellanie Hembree of Seymour; special nephew, Kaleb Mullins of Seymour; Mamaw and Papaw, Herb and Laura Tillie of Knoxville; many other relatives and friends. Funeral service 2:00 PM Friday, Berry Chapel with Rev. Steve Tuck officiating. Interment Highland South Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
